i can

Who hasn’t been told this adage whenever we whine about having to do something over and over again? But it is a timeless saying for a simple reason: it’s true! Persistent, untiring effort is what drives us to bringing out the best in ourselves. Few have said it better than Calvin Coolidge: “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” The next time you find yourself thinking you’re not gifted enough, lucky enough or skilled enough - well, think again. We all have to fall a few times before we get to where we really want to be - it only makes success that much sweeter.
Practice makes perfect.
