THE ITALIAN TOMATOE GARDEN ...

An old Italian lived alone in New Jersey.  He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard.  His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison.  The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:
Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year.  I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.  I know if you were here my troubles would be over.  I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the good old days.
Love, Papa

A few days later, he received a letter from his son.
Dear Pop,
Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried.
Love, Vinnie

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and the local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies.  They apologized to the old man and left.  That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Pop,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now.  That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love you, Vinnie

Money bags

This year, July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. This happens
once every 823 years. This is called money bags. So, forward this to
your friends and money will arrive within 4 days. Based on Chinese
Feng Shui. The one who does not forward.....will be without money.

Kinda interesting - read on!!!

This year we're going to experience four unusual dates.

1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11 and that's not all...

Take the last two digits of the year in which you were born - now add
the age you will be this year,

The results will be 111 for everyone in whole world. This is the year of
the Money!!!

The proverb goes that if you send this to eight good friends money will
appear in next four days as it is explained in Chinese FENG SHUI.

Those who don't continue the chain won't receive.......

It is a mystery, but it is worth a try, good luck.

The magnitude 9.0 Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake and the massive tsunami it produced struck the North East coast of Japan on March 11, 2011, causing widespread destruction. At the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant this disaster led to a loss of emergency cooling systems and subsequently a substantial radiological release in a nuclear accident rivaling Chernobyl and Three Mile Island.

The Fukushima nuclear disaster was one of the biggest nuclear disasters in the history of the nuclear age. As did the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the Fukushima nuclear disaster has raised concerns about the safety of nuclear power and the continued use, and future growth, of nuclear power.

The Fukushima disaster has changed the nuclear power landscape. It continues to have far-reaching effects into many sectors. This report on the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster analyzes the events that led to the massive nuclear accident. It follows the events that took place in all the reactors of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant and how they eventually led to the leakage of contaminated water and radiation.

Asparagus -- Who knew ?

My Mom had been taking the full-stalk canned style
asparagus that she pureed and she took 4 tablespoons in
the morning and 4 tablespoons later in the day. She did
this for over a month. She is on chemo pills for Stage 3
lung cancer in the pleural area and her cancer cell
count went from 386 down to 125 as of this past week.
Her oncologist said she does not need to see him for 3
months.

THE ARTICLE:

Several years ago, I had a man seeking asparagus for a
friend who had cancer. He gave me a photocopied copy of an article, entitled, Asparagus for cancer 'printed in Cancer News Journal, December 1979. I will share it
here, just as it was shared with me: I am a biochemist, and have specialized in the relation of diet to health or over 50 years. Several years ago, I learned of the discovery of Richard R. Vensal, D.D.S. that asparagus might cure cancer. Since then, I have worked with him on his project We have accumulated a number
of favorable case histories. Here are a few examples:

Case No. 1,
A man with an almost hopeless case
of Hodgkin's disease (cancer of the lymph glands) who
was completely incapacitated. Within 1 year of starting the asparagus therapy, his doctors were unable to
detect any signs of cancer, and he was back on a
schedule of strenuous exercise.

Case No. 2
, a successful businessman 68 years old
who suffered from cancer of the bladder for 16 years.
After years of medical treatments, including radiation
without improvement, he went on asparagus. Within 3
months, examinations revealed that his bladder tumor
had disappeared and that his kidneys were normal.

Case No. 3,
a man who had lung cancer. On March 5th 1971, he
was put on the operating table where they found lung cancer so widely spread that it was inoperable.
The surgeon sewed him up and declared his case
hopeless. On April 5th he heard about the Asparagus

therapy and immediately started taking it By August,

x-ray pictures revealed that all signs of the cancer had
disappeared...
He is back at his regular business routine.

Case No. 4,
a woman who was troubled for a number of
years with skin cancer. She finally developed different
skin cancers which were diagnosed by the acting
specialist as advanced. Within 3 months after starting
on asparagus, her skin specialist said that her skin
looked fine and no more skin lesions. This woman
reported that the asparagus therapy also cured her
kidney disease, which started in 1949. She had over 10
operations for kidney stones, and was receiving
government disability payments for an inoperable,
terminal, kidney condition. She attributes the cure of
this kidney trouble entirely to the asparagus.

I was not surprised at this result, as `The elements of
material medica', edited in 1854 by a Professor at the
University of Pennsylvania , stated that asparagus was
used as a popular remedy for kidney stones. He even
referred to experiments, in 1739, on the power of
asparagus in dissolving stones. Note the dates!
We would have other case histories but the medical
establishment has interfered with our obtaining some
of the records. I am therefore appealing to readers to
spread this good news and help us to gather a large
number of case histories that will overwhelm the

medical skeptics about this unbelievably simple and
natural remedy.

For the treatment
, asparagus should be cooked before using, and therefore canned asparagus is just as good as fresh. I have corresponded with the two
leading canners of asparagus, Giant and Stokely, and I
am satisfied that these brands contain no pesticides or
 preservatives
Place the cooked asparagus in a blender and liquefy to
make a puree, and store in the refrigerator. Give the
patient 4 full tablespoons twice daily, morning and
evening. Patients usually show some improvement in
2-4 weeks. It can be diluted with water and used as a
cold or hot drink. This suggested dosage is based on
present experience, but certainly larger amounts can do
no harm and may be needed in some cases. As a
biochemist I am convinced of the old saying that `what
cures can prevent.' Based on this theory, my wife and I
have been using asparagus puree as a beverage with
our meals. We take 2 tablespoons diluted in water to

suit our taste with breakfast and with dinner. I take

mine hot and my wife prefers hers cold. For years we
have made it a practice to have blood surveys taken as

part of our regular checkups. The last blood survey,
taken by a medical doctor who specializes in the
nutritional approach to health, showed substantial
improvements in all categories over the last one, and
we can attribute these improvements to nothing but
the asparagus drink.
As a biochemist, I have made an extensive study of all
aspects of cancer, and all of the proposed cures. As a
result, I am convinced that asparagus fits in better
with the latest theories about cancer.

Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called
histones
, which are believed to be active in controlling
cell growth.. For that reason, I believe asparagus can
be said to contain a substance that I call cell growth
normalizer
. That accounts for its action on cancer and
in acting as a general body tonic. In any event, regardless of theory, asparagus used as we suggest, is a harmless substance. The FDA cannot prevent you
from using it and it may do you much good. It has
been reported by the US National Cancer Institute, that
asparagus is the highest tested food containing glutathione, which is considered one of the body's most potent anticarcinogens and antioxidants.

What  a creative idea! Joanne Ussary bought a used Boeing  727.  She paid $2,000.00 for the plane.  It  cost $4,000.00 to move and $24,000.00 to  renovate.  (She has a LOT of wood and specialty  windows for $24,000!  I want her  carpenter!)  But not bad for a $30,000.00  investment...  The stairs open with a garage door  remote and one of the bathrooms is still intact.   There is a personal Jacuzzi in the cockpit.

Playing catch up with Facebook's Like button, Google has launched +1 (http://www.google.com/+1/button/), a platform that allows users to say that they like certain ads and search results. Obviously, this isn't something new, at least in Malaysia. Last year, 1Malaysia was launched a year ahead of schedule and it has now expanded to include 1Radio, 1Tv, 1Clinic, 1Email, etc (let us to come clean, everything except - 1.my).

And just when we thought that the "1" fever was losing steam, "Cloud" becomes one of the most hyped terms today. Of course, the Cloud we're talking about here isn't the "visible mass of water droplets or frozen ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere above the surface of the Earth or another planetary body." We're talking Cloud computing.

You could say that Cloud reached a climax when iCloud was finally revealed at Apple's recent Worldwide Developers Conference 2011. Then, all of a sudden, books, music, files and photos are all on Cloud. Fortunately, Malaysia isn't far behind when it comes to technology. After all, we have the tallest building in the Clouds and we can even have roti canai above the Clouds.

So, what is Cloud?

Steve Jobs says don't even need to know what Cloud is, because you never interact with it - your apps do.

End users shouldn't worry, however, because the moment you upload a picture on Facebook, navigate KL using Google Maps or play Angry Bird on Google Chrome, you are in fact, in a transition to Cloud. To you, it is a matter of experience which makes sharing faster. It also makes life easier and fun! So don't crack your head trying to understand Cloud, it exists in the background. Think of it this way, you don't need to know how a car works in order to drive a car, and remember Web 2.0? Who gives a hoot about it now?

It's wise for businesses to make the change, however. You can be a mover and shaker by helping your customers make the transition to Cloud. Ask yourself these questions - Is your website hosted on Cloud? Does your product require an additional hardware to run? Think again and check out Cloud Computing (http://www.1.com.my/2011/03/21/cloud-server/), as well as this article (http://techcrunch.com/2011/06/08/apple-icloud-google-cloud/)

Uk Scientists say watercress is the new super food, able to prevent certain types of cancer.

According to a study published this week in The British Journal of Nutrition, the consumption of a three ounce portion of watercress reduced the presence of a key tumor growth factor six and eight hours after eating the watercress in healthy patients who had previously been treated for breast cancer.

The study was conducted by the Cancer Research Centre at the School of Medicine ,  Southampton General Hospital in the United Kingdom .

The study concluded watercress is as therapeutic as traditional drug treatments with tamoxifen and herceptin, commonly used chemotherapy drugs.  The study also said that through regular consumption, watercress "has the potential to confer valuable protection against cancer in general."

"Watercress has the ability to turn off HIF1, a signal sent out by cells calling for blood supply," said noted aging scientist Dr. Nicholas Perricone.

When HIF1 becomes incorrectly regulated, otherwise harmless precancerous clusters of cells have the opportunity to grow to form invasive tumors.  "Scientists have been looking for anti-angiogenesis agents for years because if we can turn off the blood supply, we can kill the cancer," said Perricone.  "And it looks like watercress can do that."

Another study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in February of 2007 showed that, in addition to reducing DNA damage, a daily dose of watercress increased the ability of cells to further resist DNA damage that may be caused by free radicals.

In the study, 60 men and women, half of whom were smokers, consumed their usual diet plus 85 grams of raw watercress daily for eight weeks. Blood samples were analyzed for plasma antioxidant status and DNA damage in lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. Watercress consumption significantly reduced lymphocyte DNA damage.

In the time of the Romans, Greeks and Persians watercress was used as a natural medicine, prescribed for migraines, anemia, eczema, kidney and liver disorder and tuberculosis.

The purple sweet potato: The latest in a long line of potential Superfoods The purple sweet potato, the latest food item presented to the general public as a potential superfood.   The potato’s colouring contained the chemical anthocyanin, which is known to lower the risk of cancer and could even possibly slow down certain types of the disease.  The colour is the important part because the purple colour is responsible for the amount of anthocyanin in the potato.  Scientists have already used two strands of anthocyanin to treat colon cancer and found that the pigment slowed down the growth of cancerous cells.  Anthocyanin, which produces red, blue or purple colours in different types of food, can also be found in blueberries, red grapes and red cabbage, however the specially grown purple sweet potato has a higher concentration of the chemical than any other species of potato.  Dr Weiqun Wang, who was also involved in testing the potato, has said that the new purple sweet potato tasted sweeter than other potatoes but was still perfectly edible.  According to Wang, “It’s good not only for cancer prevention but other benefits like antioxidants as well.”

SWEET POTATO (Kamote) far exceeds the nutrition and health values of rice.
Here are the benefits of substituting rice with kamote:
1.   Sweet potato is more filling and suppresses hunger pangs longer. It is also cheaper than rice.
2.   Unlike rice, it is  easy to grow. It grows in backyards with or without fertilizers. Local government executives can provide their poor communities with idle government land for planting kamote which the entire community can share.
3.   Unlike rice which needs to be eaten with a dish, Sweet Potato tastes good and can be eaten by itself. Thus, substituting rice with sweet potato saves money for other needs.
4.   Rice cannot match the nutritional values of potato. Because rice converts to sugar in the body, the Philippines registers as a top producer of diabetics in the world. The poor tends to load up on rice and less on the dish which are more expensive. That makes them vulnerable to diabetes, an ailment known in developed countries as a rich man’s disease.
5.   The nutritional values of a 3 oz. baked sweet potato are: calories 90, fat 0 g, saturated fat 0 g, cholesterol 0 mg, carbohydrate 21 g, protein 2 g, dietary fiber 3 g, sodium 36 mg

6.   Too much rice consumption can make you sick, but sweet potato(kamote) can bring you to health and keep away some health problems. These have been proved medically.

Sweet Potato (kamote) lowers hypertension, bad cholesterol and even blood sugar when eaten as as a substitute to rice! (Wonder if they mean white rice or brown rice as well....)   The purple sweet potato (kamote) is particularly effective for lowering hypertension.

The Korean medical documentary credits the sweet potato (kamote) as high fiber and is one of the best foods that one can eat to prevent cancer!
The benefits of lemon!

Subject to change are all component things

Strive on with heedfulness!

Just cut 2-3 thin slices of lemon in a cup/containner and add drinking water will become "alkaline water", drink for the whole day, just by adding drinking water.  Take it as drinking water everyday is good for everybody.

The surprising benefits of lemon!

I remain perplexed!

Lemon
(Citrus) is a miraculous product to kill cancer cells. It is 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy
Why do we not know about that? Because there are laboratories interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge profits. You can now help a friend in need by
letting him/her know that lemon juice is beneficial in preventing the disease. Its taste is pleasant and it does not produce the horrific effects of chemotherapy. How many people will die while this closely guarded secret is kept, so as not to jeopardize the beneficial multimillionaires largecorporations? As you know, the lemon tree is known for its varieties of lemons and limes. You can eat the fruit in different ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press, prepare drinks, sorbets, pastries, etc... It is credited with many virtues, but the most interesting is the effect it produces on cysts and tumors. This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all types. Some say it is very useful in all variants of cancerIt is considered also as an anti microbial spectrum against bacterial infections and fungi, effective against internal parasites and worms, it regulatesblood pressure which is too high and an antidepressant, combats stress and nervous disorders.
The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world, says that after more than 20 laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that:
It destroys the malignant cells in 12 cancers
including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas ... The compounds of this tree showed 10,000 times better than the product Adriamycin, a drug normally used chemotherapeutic in the world, slowing the growth of cancer cells. And what is even more astonishing: this type of therapy with lemon extract only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not affect healthy cells.

Warning from the British Ministry of health about Energy Saving Bulbs

These types of bulbs which are called Energy Saving or low Energy bulbs, if broken, cause serious danger!
So much so, that if one breaks, everybody will have to leave the room for at least 15 minutes, because it contains

Mercury (poisonous) which causes migraine, disorientation, imbalances and different other health problems,
when inhaled.

It causes many people with allergies, severe skin conditions and other diseases just by touching this substance or inhaling it.

Also the ministry warned to NOT clean the debris of the broken bulb with a vacuum cleaner,
because it would spread the contamination to other rooms in the house when using the vacuum cleaner again.
It must be cleaned up with a
normal broom or brush, be kept in a sealed bag and disposed of right away from the house in a bin for hazardous materials.

Notice: Mercury is dangerous, more poisonous than lead or arsenic!!!
